Had my two lower ones removed two days ago (08/06/2008). I don’t have any upper wisdom teeth—-they quite simply do not exist. I got a prescription for Vicodin but have yet to take a single one. Instead, I am just doing 800mg Ibuprofen every 7-8 hours. The pain is completely manageable. I think people make this out to be a bigger deal than it is.

(Oh, and I had mine removed late—I am almost 30).

I find taking a bath changes your mood. Whenever I want to relax I go and spend half an hour in my free standing roll top bath. As I sell bathrooms and bathroom suites for a living I got to choose the best bath we have.

Hi, I don’t mean to burst your bubble but your palindrome “Llama mall” is rather basic, isn’t all that original and has in fact been around in print for many many years. It was illustrated in Jon Agee’s book “Go Hang a Salami! I’m a Lasagna Hog: and Other Palindromes” published in 1994 but I recall seeing it in print as far back as the 1960s. Most simple palindromes have been discovered and rediscovered countless times. It is often impossible to attribute them to a single author. I have been writing and collecting palindromes for more than 40 years. For those interested, I suggest the website mockok.com where single sentence palindromes are collected and attributed to the original author/submitter. Some of my own are included including:
SOME MEDIC I USE DAMNED GOD AS SAD OGDEN MADE SUICIDE MEMOS.
GOD, LEE H. OSWALD, I’M AMID LAW, SO HEEL DOG!
PUPILS CITE NEGRO FOR GENETIC SLIPUP.
‘TIS IN A DESOTO SEDAN I SIT.

i definitely like the math/logic aspects of palindromes. It is also an idea that scales well. For example, AT-AT is not a basic palindrome, but it is if you consider AT a single ‘atom’. So, then, you could have ‘tokenized’ palindromes where the tokens are defined at whatever level you wanted (words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, …). Would that make everything a (trivial) palindrome at the level of itself?

You could also define a palindromic operator as P(singleton, list) = list + singleton + reverse(list). So ABAABA would become P(null, ABA) = P(null, P(B, A)). You could also put the singleton as the last element in the list, which would then be P’(P’(A, B), null), which looks better to me. If your palindromes were long enough, it would serve as a sort of compression algorithm.

And similarly, “reward: a drawer”. Although that sounds like a pretty crappy reward to me.

I think there’s a tie-in with some fundamental computer science with context-free grammars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Context-free_grammar), but it’s been a LONG time since I studied them (and only superficially then)

radii is the only one i could think of ending in -ii. i’m not sure how you’d make a palindrome out of it, though. …radii i idar…?

there are some aa- words, but no words end in -aa, (right?) and the one-letter ‘a’ doesn’t fit, because it would need to be ‘an’…
